Čokolino Kuglice / Chocolino Truffles

I don’t know about you, but I’m not embarrassed to admit that I like “kid foods” every now and then. I have some Plazma keks in the pantry at all times for emergency (a.k.a. LAZY) meals, boxes of instant mac & cheese, and Chocolino. Oh, and you have Nesquick in chocolate AND strawberry in your pantry too, right? Right?

And one naked one 🙂

Now that the weather is getting warmer, we’ve been enjoying a lot more salads, fruit, and sandwiches. Basically finding any way possible to avoid using the stove/oven that would require us to hang out close by and feel the heat. The baker in me is very sad at the moment.

However, I’ve also been digging through my recipe stash to find no-bake recipes that I could make and share with you. And buried deeply inside by recipe notebook, I found these beautiful kuglice that I know you will love as much as I do. No-bake, soft as a cloud, and just sweet enough.

These Chocolino Kuglice are best when enjoyed straight from the fridge. Other recipes for kuglice that I’ve come across almost always use butter or margarine to hold everything together. This recipe does not use butter, and because of that they need to be kept cool or enjoyed immediately. If you make anything for your summer get-together, make this. You won’t regret it. Just remember to keep them away from the sun 🙂

Quick and easy, these truffles will be a hit, guaranteed!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ( 60g) Chocolino Instant Cereal

  • 1 cup (200 g) milk, cold

  • 1/2 cup (50 g) Plazma keks/Petit Buerre/graham cracker, ground

  • 1 tsp (5g) cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup (50 g) walnuts, ground

  • For Rolling
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) ground walnuts

  • 1/4 cup (30 g) Plazma keks/Petit Buerre/graham cracker

Directions

  • Combine all truffle ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and mix well with a spatula until combined.
  • Cover mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare your Plazma Keks or graham cracker, and walnuts for rolling the truffles in by transferring each to a separate plate or small bowl.
  • When the truffle mixture has cooled for 30 minutes, remove from refrigerator. Break off small pieces and roll into a ball. Then roll each ball into the Plazma Keks/graham crackers and ground walnuts.
  • Place finished truffles onto a plate and refrigerate until ready to serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • These are best enjoyed right out of the refrigerator. Because they don’t use any butter, they may become very soft if left out in a warm place for an extended period of time.
