During the holiday season, one of my favorite treats is Terry’s Chocolate Orange. If you’ve never had one and enjoy the combination of chocolate and orange you’re seriously missing out. I usually buy a couple and enjoy them during the holiday season. Orange is definitely my favorite flavor combination with chocolate so I decided to create a Čoko-Oranž Kuglice recipe to enjoy all year round.
I’ve shared two of my favorite kuglice recipes so far and thought I’d share this latest creation with you. It makes for a quick dessert to contribute to a dessert table or as a quick make-ahead recipe for those times where you don’t have all the time in the world to make something. Oh, and did I mention they’re no-bake?
One of the great things about these is that you can decorate them any way you’d like; dipped in chocolate, plain, or rolled in ground Plazma keks or walnuts. Even cocoa powder works great as a topping. I prefer to drizzle mine with a little bit of chocolate and then garnishing with a little bit of fresh orange zest. That orange zest really highlights the orange flavor.
The ingrediants for this recipe are few, and any number of substitutions can be made. If you really wanted to, you could make these vegan by leaving out the butter and substituting the Nutella for vegan chocolate.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.
